Spending time in nature benefits both physical and mental health. In today’s fast-paced world, nature helps us slow down, be present, and reconnect. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing), this presentation explores the healing power of the outdoors and offers simple mindfulness practices you can use daily. Weather permitting, the program includes outdoor component—please wear comfortable clothes, sturdy shoes and bring a towel to sit on.
This program is presented by Gina DiMaio, Park Naturalist, Burlington County Division of Parks.
