This is an ESL class for beginner to intermediate level language learners. The class will provide opportunities for practice of written and spoken English. Students will strengthen their skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking through class activities such as discussions, writing tasks, reading short passages, comprehension questions and interacting in small groups with classmates. Learners will review and practice English grammar structure and apply what they learn in meaningful contexts. Students will have opportunities to ask any questions they might have about vocabulary, pronunciation or other language skills that could be useful in their day-to-day lives.
This class is designed for adults only. Students and children under age 18 will not be permitted to ensure a productive learning environment.
This event will be hosted by Lisa Seward, a language instructor with more than 25 years of teaching experience.
