Calling all movie goers! Head over to the Burlington County Library for a Friday Flick. Today's flick will be the 2008 film, Milk.
Harvey Milk (Sean Penn) and his current partner Scott Smith move to San Francisco in 1972. After settling in to the Castro District, Harvey decides that he wants to leave a true impact in the world. He starts this process by opening a camera shop and proceeds to become a major figure in transforming the area. This location quickly becomes a central place for all walks of life. Soon after, Milk joins the San Francisco Board of Supervisors while making history as the first openly gay man in America to hold a crucial public office role. Unfortunately, Harvey meets an unexpected and tragic end at the hands of Dan White (Josh Brolin).
