Fandom Fest at the Burlington County Library is back after a long hiatus! On Sept, 20, 2025, Fandom Fest, a gathering for pop culture enthusiasts, will be the event to find and embrace your particular passion. From 10 am to 3 pm, fans of everything from D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) to WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), horror to fantasy, will gather to enjoy presentations by guest speakers, play games, shop from vendors and more. At our last event, we had more than 1,000 guests stop by to enjoy the fun. We’re looking forward to doing it again!
This Comic-Con-like event will bring together all types of people to geek out about their favorite things and to learn about other interests. Our diverse panelists will offer valuable insight into what makes their special interests so appealing to fans. Visitors will get to meet Yumy Odom, President of The East Coast Black Age of Comics Convention (ECBACC, Inc.), Amber Love, comic creator and podcaster, and more!
Some fandoms that are likely to be represented are:
In addition, visitors can attend hands-on workshops and exciting events that cater to niche interests. Kids will have author and illustrator, Mike Dawson hosting a workshop on how to create a cartoon. Library staff will host trivia challenges to test guests’ knowledge and intergenerational gaming to encourage folks of all ages to play together!
In between workshops, visitors will be able to snag some comics, collectibles and more from local vendors. Fans will also get to meet the panelists and presenters at their designated tables, where they’ll have information or some of their own published comics for sale.
Come dressed as a favorite character or keep it casual. Either way you’ll be sure to have a blast embracing who you are and what you love at Fandom Fest!
