Sister Rain & Brother Sun: Large Puppet Theater

2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Burlington County Library

Description

When sparkly Sister Rain gets a little envious of her bright and bold brother, the Sun decides to stop watering the Earth. It is up to the ever-wise, Mother Nature, to step in and set things right. In this lively musical adventure, the audience joins Catskill Puppet Theater’s larger-than-life rod puppets, eye-catching sets and vibrant costumes! Along the way, they’ll discover a simple but powerful truth — it takes all of us working together to help the Earth flourish.

This performance is presented by the Catskill Puppet Theater. Since 1979, Catskill Puppet Theater co-founders John Potocnik and Carol Mandigo have toured internationally, captivating audiences with imaginative puppets and musical storytelling. Combining large-scale rod puppets, music, drama and American folk traditions, they share high-quality children’s theater with over 75,000 people each year.

  • Tickets will be distributed at the auditorium doors starting at 1:15 pm.
