The arrival of spring ushers in New Jersey’s smallest migratory bird, the ruby-throated hummingbird! Discover the life history characteristics, adaptations and migratory patterns of these fascinating creatures. Emphasis will be placed on responsibly attracting hummingbirds to your yard using feeders (including how to maintain them), selecting the appropriate native plants and how to implement additional sustainable practices at home to benefit local biodiversity.
