Description

Movies can be a great way to practice your language skills! Join us for a big-screen viewing of the movie Minari, and practice your English by listening to the dialogue and reading the subtitles. In addition to this event being helpful for English language learners, everyone is welcome to attend to simply enjoy the movie.

Minari is a drama film released in 2021, about a Korean-American family that moves to an Arkansas farm in search of a new home. The film stars Steven Yeun, Han Ye-ri, Alan Kim, Noel Cho, Youn Yuh-jung and Will Patton, and is written and directed by Lee Isaac Chung. This is an original film based on Chung's personal upbringing in a family of South Korean immigrants who moved to America in the 1980s.

This movie is rated PG-13 and has a runtime of 1 hour and 55 minutes.
