Community Resource Navigation with the Office of New Americans

10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Bordentown Library

Description

The Burlington County Library’s Community Resource Navigation Program is hosting the New Jersey Office of New Americans (ONA) for an information table. Patrons can stop by to learn more about ONA and the programs and services available to support immigrant and refugee communities. Staff will share resources on NJ FamilyCare – Cover All Kids, Know Your Rights material, offer connections and referrals to pro bono immigration legal services, answer general questions and provide tools to help access opportunities and navigate state social services. If you’re not able to stop by but would like to learn more, please visit NewAmericans.nj.gov. Many resources are available in more than 19 languages to ensure communities can access information in the language they feel most comfortable with. Library staff will also be at the table to offer guidance through the Community Resource Navigation Binder of local, state and federal services and resources

This program is presented by a representative from the Office of New Americans to provide resources and information on a wide variety of services available to immigrants and their families.
