Parenting and Paperbacks

10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Riverton Free Library

Description

Want to chat with other parents about the parenting book you just read? Are you looking for a place to discuss the joys and difficulties of raising kids? Join us for Parenting and Paperbacks!

We will be talking about a specific topic, and you are invited to read a book (or two) and come ready to add to the conversation. If you don't have the opportunity to read a book, come for the discussion anyway!

For this meeting, we'll be talking about memoirs of parenthood. Books on this topic include Like a Mother; We’re Going to Need More Wine; Spilt Milk; Mom and Me and Mom; Splinters; Operating Instructions; Second Life; Held Together; If It’s Not One Thing; It’s Your Mother; Stranger Care; An Excellent Choice; I Was a Really Good Mom Before I Had Kids; The Best, Most Awful Job; Tell Me More; and I’ll Show Myself Out.

We welcome kids to come along with their grownups. We will lay out some toys, but you are responsible for your child while in the library.

This program is presented by library staff.
