Description

The Revolutionary War opened new doors for women across all walks of life. Thousands took sides and played active roles in the fight for independence, making supplies for soldiers, managing and defending their homes, and challenging traditional power structures. Through travel diaries, memoirs, court records, and everyday objects, we can uncover what their personal stories reveal about their experiences, the war itself, and its lasting impact. Questions & Answer period to follow.
