Kids DIY: Native Gardening

10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Pemberton Library

Description

Join us in welcoming Spring back by getting your hands dirty in the soil around the library! First, we will talk about the native plants we will use and the native animals that they will help. Then we will be crafting signs to label each plant in the garden bed. Let's follow all that up with time in the garden bed preparing the soil and planting the plants! With your help, we will convert one of our outdoor spaces into a native garden that will be a haven for birds, bugs and other native visitors! Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy and be prepared to be outside.
