Eighteenth-century Philadelphia was a bustling hub where global trade introduced new goods and ideas that inspired revolutionaries. Join us on a virtual tour tracing the story of one artifact — a punch bowl discovered during an archaeological dig at the Museum of the American Revolution. Along the way, explore market stalls, coffeehouses, secret taverns, churches, and government halls that shaped the city’s vibrant life.
